BJJ gis use a different sizing system than regular sportswear. Sizes are indicated by codes based on your height and weight:

• Do not use fabric softener - it damages the fabric and reduces grip
• Let your gi air dry; using a dryer causes shrinkage and faster wear
• Wash your belt together with your gi to avoid color differences
• Store your gi dry and hang it up, even if you’ll train again later
